Osborne Richardson have an opportunity for a Planning Technician to join a busy local authority in the West Midlands.

As a Planning Technician you will be involved with a range of administrative functions including;

Main purpose of the job role:

  • Ensure the provision of an efficient service in the validation and registration of planning applications.
  • Operate a customer focused service to users of the Development Management service in response to technical enquiries.

Other duties will include dealing with inbound calls and providing advice to customers. On a day to day basis you will deal with a high volume of enquiries and you will help manage a busy flow of emails. Previous experience within a similar Planning role for a Local Authority is essential.

The role will initially be offered for 3 months, but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this date. The rate offered is Β£25/hr Umbrella and this role is inside IR35

Our client offers hybrid working with one day a week in the office which will be a Tuesday.
