Osborne Richardson have an opportunity for a Planning Team Manager to join a busy local authority in Leicestershire. Working closely with the Planning and Development Team Manager and Head of Service (who will be the subject matter experts), the postholder will manage the day-to-day delivery of the Planning Development and Planning Policy and Land Charges Teams while carrying significant responsibility for leading, supporting and developing people.
The Experience you will bring:
- Demonstrable expertise and experience across the broad remit of the role, having the ability to work at the level required for this role
- Experience and demonstrable knowledge of a Local Authority Planning Department and associated regulations and governance arrangements
- Educated to degree level in Planning or a relevant subject
The role will initially be offered for 3 months, but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this date. The rate offered will depend on your experience, but it is expected to be £60/hr+ Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. Our client offers hybrid working.
