Planning Conditions Officer -
Hybrid working (flexible arrangements for non-local candidates)

Take the lead on a unique Planning Conditions project within a busy Local Authority Development Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to reduce the backlog of condition discharge applications while helping modernise the council's approach to planning conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload focused on condition discharge applications
- Review and improve standard planning conditions
- Develop a long-term conditions monitoring strategy
- Drive service improvements and best practice
- Provide planning advice to a range of stakeholders
Requirements
- UK Local Authority Development Management experience
- Strong knowledge of planning conditions and planning legislation
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Proactive approach to service improvement
