As a Principal Planning Policy Officer, you will support all aspects of the work within the team, utilising your advanced professional skills to aid the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of the Council’s Local Plan by managing a complex and varied workload.

At Knowsley Council, we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible:

  • Flexible hours
  • Working from home
  • Compressed hours
  • Part‑time

There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least two days per week (namely Thursday and Friday).
