The predicted salary is between 110000 - 110000 £ per year.
Our client needs to recruit a Senior Planning Officer to a role within their Major Projects team. The role will initially be offered for 6 months and you will need to attend the office 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday). Our client is also willing to accept applicants from those who want to work part-time (29hrs per week).
Your case load will focus on major applications work e.g. sites of +50 homes and other developer-led schemes that have Planning Performance Agreements in place. Specifically, there are 2 major new neighbourhood development projects in the district.
We are looking for an established Senior Planning Officer who has led PPA schemes and can show a proven track record in delivering large scale, major schemes. You will need an excellent knowledge of Design Codes (interpretation and application; negotiation of developer-led and application of Council-led) and you will need excellent negotiation skills.
Previous roles will have given you the confidence you need to lead planning meetings and you will be very capable of presenting to planning control committee.
Our client is based in Hertfordshire and will pay £55/hr (umbrella).
