Initial 6-month contract, up to £70 per hour inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop broad content of policies working toward the Local Plan.
  • Mentor a team of junior staff members.
  • Prioritise daily workloads and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Planner with strong knowledge of national planning policy and preferably local authority background.
  • Degree, ideally master’s, with MRTPI status or working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and processes and excellent communication skills.

Remuneration:

Rates negotiable up to £70 per hour, based on experience.
