The predicted salary is between 30000 - 37694 £ per year.

£48,259 - £52,763 pro rata per annum dependent on location. Part time - 21 hours per week. Role can be based in our Edinburgh, Cardiff or London offices or can be home-based.

We’re seeking a Chartered Planner to lead on our professional ethics work, supporting our Conduct and Discipline Panel to investigate and determine cases of alleged misconduct and supporting our members with proactive guidance and training. You must have a town planning or law qualification and have experience working in the planning profession.

So as our new Complaints Investigator, your role in advising and supporting members to understand and adhere to our Code of Conduct is an essential one. You’ll be responsible for a mix of proactive and reactive work, leading on the promotion of professional ethics within the Institute and more widely, as well as being responsible for undertaking initial assessments of complaints, recommending whether they should proceed to investigation, undertaking investigations and supporting the Conduct and Discipline Panel to determine the outcome and appropriate sanctions.

In exchange for your flexibility to attend a handful of face‑to‑face meetings in London, we can offer flexibility about where you work (home, or our offices in London, Cardiff or Edinburgh) and when you work your contracted weekly hours.
