  • 4 x Career Grade Planning Officers (including Senior level roles and 1 x Planning Enforcement Officer)

About the roles

Head of Planning Enforcement and Licensing Lead planning enforcement and licensing services, aligning delivery with Council priorities, budgets and transformation goals. Oversees statutory functions, enforcement decisions, investigations and regulatory compliance, while deputising for senior leadership and ensuring effective, lawful service delivery.

Career Grade Planners You’ll manage a diverse and exciting caseload, from householder applications and changes of use to large‑scale masterplans within designated Opportunity Areas. Our borough combines dense housing, rich historic character, major cultural assets, and internationally recognised sporting venues, including three major football stadiums, alongside some of the world’s leading developers. As a valued member of staff, you’ll work collaboratively with residents, developers and key stakeholders. You’ll bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the flexibility to manage competing priorities while contributing new ideas and approaches.
