The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leader in the Aerospace industry who are looking for a number of Manufacturing Operator / Assemblers to join the team on an initial 3-month contract in Plymouth.
Rotating Shift Patterns: Mornings (06:00 - 14:30) & Afternoons (14:30 - 23:00) - 25% Allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Working in accordance with standard operating instructions, engineering drawings and product specifications
- Loading the products onto local test rigs and running tests
- Assembling and soldering pre‑mounted PCB boards
- Soldering operations to involve soldering to IPC J standards (training will be supplied)
- Assembling the PCB boards into mechanical housing
Ideal Candidates
- 12 months+ manufacturing assembly experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- The flexibility to work overtime
- Basic IT skills required
