Full Stack Web Developer

The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a US based content rating and forum organisation to secure a Contract Full Stack Web Developer on a 5 month contract. (Hourly / Daily rate). This is an Inside IR35 PAYE opportunity offering a daily rate of £325/£400 per day. Position Overview: Our client is currently seeking a Full Stack web developer to join their Growth team. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for driving technical and product strategies, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world. Duties & Responsibilities: * You will work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute the product and business strategy. * Your focus will be on building novel products and features that enhance user experiences. * You will contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. * Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of motivated engineers, contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, and mentor junior engineers to help them grow their technical expertise. * Collaborate cross-functionally to execute product and business strategy * Develop novel products and features for onboarding experience. * Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch Review code, design documents, and provide feedback on product specifications and mocks * Contribute to improving developer workflows and recommend best practices Mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth Continuously learn and enhance technical and non-technical abilities Experience / Key Skills Required: * Mid-level software engineering experience, primarily focusing on developing user-facing, reusable UI components, manage application state efficiently, and optimize performance in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Java, Rust, or C++ * Additional knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design maintainable APIs is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule Entrepreneurial spirit, self-directed, innovative, and thrive in fast-paced environments * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with remote teams and communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences Technical leadership experience If you would like to find out more, please apply in the first instance.
