Our well-known client has a fantastic permanent Paediatric Occupational Therapist vacancy in their clinic. To provide specialist occupational therapy services to children 0-16 years at their clinic. Children may present with a variety of diagnoses including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delay/disorders, global developmental delay, or neurological disorders.

Job Role:

  • To be responsible as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a clinical workload.
  • To undertake assessments of children, using both standardised and informal assessment tools.
  • To demonstrate developing clinical reasoning and ability to interpret assessment data and write clinical assessment reports.
  • To devise child/family centred treatment plans through use of goal attainment scaling, considering a wide range of treatment techniques, grading activities to ensure that the individual’s full potential is developed or maintained.
  • To conduct 1:1 and small group therapy sessions.
