Overview

As Strategic Account Manager at Freshworks, you drive revenue within defined paying accounts in the UKI region, coordinating across teams to manage opportunities from qualification to close.

You advocate multiple Freshworks product lines to boost adoption, expansion, and renewal and you work closely with customers to deliver measurable business impact.

You’ll focus on reducing churn, growing existing accounts, and building long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.

This role suits a growth-oriented, cross-functional collaborator shaping regional success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue in a defined set of paying accounts within the DACH market to meet or exceed targets
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across existing accounts
  • Manage multiple accounts concurrently and strategically
  • End-to-end renewal management including upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with the CSM organization to reduce churn within your book of business
  • Provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting
  • Engage with C-level stakeholders to articulate value and align with internal teams (AEs, Customer Success, Implementations, Billing, Support, deals teams)
  • Analyze sales and metrics to refine strategy
  • Help customers identify industry-use cases and demonstrate business impact
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships to ensure high service quality and satisfaction
  • Monitor competition and market dynamics
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities
  • Travel to customer sites as needed
  • Key requirements
  • 9+ years of direct/field Saa S sales experience (B2B)
  • Experience selling CX, CRM or ITSM products is advantageous
  • Proven track record closing large-scale technology deals
  • Ability to present a technology suite within an existing portfolio
  • Proven ability to grow customer relationships and identify business needs
  • Experience managing a book of business with significant net-new opportunity growth
  • Consultative ability to translate customer business needs into technology solutions
