Overview
Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a job vacancy in London.
Location: Hounslow, Isleworth, Greater London, England TW7
Salary: up to £25 per hour. Start date: as soon as possible. Duration: ongoing.
Responsibilities
- Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluids
- Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
- Record keeping and quality control
- Providing results and advice to medical staff
- Participating in continuing education and training
Qualifications
- HCPC registered
- Fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Experience with Sysmex track and Biorad IH500 (if essential)
