Are you an experienced Handyperson looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a Handyperson to join our organisation to provide general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across multiple sites. You will be joining a team with an opportunity to shine. We are looking for flexibility as you will be expected to work across all locations as and when required. Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Undertake basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs. Carry out minor decorating works, including painting and touch-ups. Complete small repairs and general 'odd jobs' as required. Diagnose basic faults and escalate more complex issues where necessary.
- External and Grounds Maintenance: Carry out basic landscaping and grounds maintenance. Maintain car parks and external areas to a clean and safe standard. Sweep and maintain storage corridors and communal areas.
- Site Support: Assist with receiving and transporting merchandise or equipment between sites. Ensure storage areas are tidy and compliant with health and safety standards. Support minor site set-ups or internal moves when required.
- Compliance and Safety: Work in line with health and safety requirements at all times. Report hazards, defects or compliance concerns promptly. Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle in a safe and secure condition.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven practical skills across general maintenance (basic electrics, plumbing and carpentry) – minimum of two years' experience is essential. If you have experience working in a multi-site environment in a hospitality, retail or community setting, this would be desirable.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, good problem-solving skills, full UK driving licence, reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated.
- Knowledge: NVQ or C&G in Maintenance or Carpentry is desirable, along with a basic knowledge of health and safety compliance.
All tools and equipment will be provided, and a company van for travel between sites.
