About the Role: As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the acquisition of Enterprise and institutional partnerships across equestrian endemic and adjacent brands for the league. You will be one of the first hires within a newly formed partnerships team and will have the ability to shape how equestrian brands use sport, hospitality, and content to build relationships and influence. You will be collaboratively building bespoke, multi-year, and strategically oriented deals with a dedicated creative strategic to design innovative, commercially disruptive offerings.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Personally originate, negotiate, and close complex, high-value equestrian partnerships
- Leverage an established senior-level network to unlock conversations with founders, CEOs, partners, and C-suite leaders
- Secure Founding, Tier-1 global, and select regional or category-exclusive partners aligned with the League’s long-term vision
- Lead negotiations for multi-year partnership agreements rooted in brand, access, and influence
- Design bespoke partnership propositions integrating:
- Global event access and premium hospitality
- Relationship-driven experiences for clients and senior stakeholders
- Media, content, and storytelling across owned and partner channels
- Long-term platform-building opportunities rather than short-term activation
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record selling high-value enterprise or partnership deals, ideally seven-figure and above
- Deep network across technology, private wealth, financial services, or adjacent professional services sectors
- Demonstrated success operating in relationship-led, UHNWI-focused environments
- Comfortable selling vision and future value in build-phase or founder-led organizations
- Commercially sharp, strategic, and highly relationship-driven
- Strong executive presence and confidence engaging at C-suite and senior partner level
- Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for building from first principles
- Ability to operate with autonomy and limited support infrastructure
- Strong alignment with ethical business practices, long-term value creation, and social impact
- Willingness to travel internationally as the global calendar develops
