We’re looking for a Tech Lead to join our development team with advanced Adobe Commerce backend development experience, and a track record of leading a team within a progressive, agile agency environment. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a choice of fully remote working from anywhere in the UK, or hybrid from Bristol. Applicants must be permanently based in the UK, with the right to work in the UK. We are not offering Sponsorship for this position.

About Us: Celebrating our 25th year, we remain dedicated to transforming digital commerce through exceptional experiences. We help businesses thrive by leveraging the full power of the Adobe Experience Cloud, providing pioneering solutions. Living by our mantra of who cares wins, we enable innovation, autonomy, and collaboration.

The Opportunity: As Technical Lead, you'll drive Adobe Commerce project execution, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. You'll maintain coding standards, security practices, and documentation with code reviews and performance tuning. Collaboration is key, working with architects on solution design and technical strategy, and delivery and strategy teams on client requirements. You'll utilise your leadership experience by mentoring others, leading by example, and taking real pride in helping others succeed. We've successfully grown 20% year on year through investing in our team, which allows us to consistently deliver award-winning work, and uphold our Gold level partnership with Adobe. Everything we achieve is a real team effort, and as a leader in the business, it's essential you embody our culture and continuous development mindset. In return, you'll enjoy training budget to pursue work related courses of your choice, in addition to unlimited access to the Adobe suite of certifications. We also provide a company bonus, clear progression opportunities, enhanced paternity/maternity pay, a culture that scores incredibly highly on anonymous employee surveys, and the freedom to work 100% remotely within the UK, or hybrid from our Bristol office.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Extensive full-stack web development and delivery experience, including hands-on implementation of Adobe Commerce & Adobe Experience Manager solutions. Proven ability to lead development teams through full project lifecycle. Deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento) & AEM. Cross-platform Adobe ecosystem understanding (such as Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, Launch). Technical leadership & mentorship experience. Collaboration & stakeholder management with colleagues and clients. Skilled in managing technical priorities, balancing quality, speed, and scope. Proven experience in agile/scrum, agency environments. Commitment to code quality and performance optimisation. Cloud, DevOps, and Integration experience (modern deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud environments (e.g. AWS or Azure) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), integrating with APIs, Headless CMS, Microservices). Security & accessibility awareness (web security best practices - XSS, CSRF, OWASP Top 10, and accessibility standards - WCAG 2.1). Eager to stay current with evolving Adobe features, AI-assisted developments, and industry best practice to drive innovation in digital experience delivery. Technical based Adobe certifications are desirable, but not essential. UK based, comfortable working remotely or hybrid from our Bristol office. A permanent UK resident, with right to work in the UK - if this does not apply, your application will be automatically rejected.
