The Opportunity
As we continue to grow 20% YOY, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team. You’ll feel at home in a well-established and multi-certified development team, building bespoke modules, integrations, and backend solutions for large scale, complex Adobe Commerce projects. You’ll regularly perform code reviews, participate in technical planning, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure the performance, scalability and security of backend systems. Utilising your strong technical knowledge, you’ll be able to support junior team members, champion best practice, and bring new ideas to the table whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.

Core Technical Skills
- Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) Backend Development
- Deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture (Service Contracts, Dependency Injection, Plugins, Observers, Repositories).
- Experience with custom module development, configuration, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Magento's Entity-Attribute-Value (EAV) and Flat table models.
- PHP (8.x)
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Repository, etc.).
- GraphQL
- Experience in writing custom GraphQL resolvers for Magento 2.
- Understanding of schema design, queries, mutations, and integrations with frontend apps (like PWA Studio).
- Adobe Commerce Cloud
