You’ll play a key role in growing our business, focusing on telesales to both B2B and B2C customers. With access to a large customer database, you’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and own the customer journey from first contact to loyal customer. You will prioritise proactively engaging with customers and converting leads into sales, all while enjoying a fun and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- New Business Development: Proactively identify and engage potential B2B and B2C customers, using our extensive database to expand The Pitchmark Group's client base in the sports turf sector.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring all opportunities are nurtured and progressed through each stage, from first contact through to quotation, negotiation and deal closure.
- Lead Conversion: Act as the primary contact for inbound enquiries, converting qualified leads into successful sales through professional and timely communication.
- Outbound Communication: Actively reach out to potential customers through outbound calls and emails to drive sales and build lasting relationships.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales Support, Marketing and Sales Teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Revenue Growth: Contribute significantly to the company’s revenue goals by securing new business and enhancing customer satisfaction through standout service that earns repeat business.
- CRM & Database Management: Maintain accurate CRM records with clear activity notes, customer information and pipeline updates to ensure opportunities are properly tracked.
- Account Development: Build strong relationships with customers including sports clubs, contractors, schools and local authorities, identifying opportunities to expand product usage.
- At least 3 years proven experience in a telesales role, particularly in managing sales pipelines within both B2B and B2C environments.
- Enthusiastic, influential, and self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships through calls and emails.
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and oversee the customer journey.
- Experience using HubSpot would be highly advantageous, although experience with other CRM platforms will also be considered.
- Experience in the sports turf industry or a passion for sport would be beneficial.
- Basic salary between £28k - £34k with a rewarding, uncapped commission structure (OTE £40k+).
- 25 days’ annual leave + Bank Holidays.
