Following a restructure of our Community Housing Service we are creating two new Income Officer posts. We are looking for someone willing to commit to the position and the ever-changing landscape of housing management. We are building a new, strong team and we want you to work collaboratively with our Community and Private Sector Housing Teams to deliver a seamless service to our customers.
As an Income Officer you will take responsibility for a patch of customer accounts with multiple tenure types, working towards positive financial outcomes. You will join a high performing income management team and will support customers to manage their rent and service charge accounts, identify where support is needed and refer as appropriate in order to help them to sustain their tenancies.
You will manage a caseload where legal interventions are required, so you will have a good working relationship with several of our internal and external partners in getting a positive resolution to cases as well as good working knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour legislation.
As an Income Officer you will:
- be willing to work in multiple locations across our geography including customer’s homes
- proactively work to understand customer needs
