About the Role:

As an Assistant Finance Transaction Manager, you will be an integral part of our Finance Operations team, reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager and working alongside experienced Finance Officers and a Finance Trainee. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Team with various financial functions, including internal accounting and purchase order systems.
  • Management of accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash book reconciliations.
  • Contribute to management accounts and balance sheet reporting, month end routines and reconciliations.
  • Support with system updates and process improvements during our system upgrade project.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fully qualified AAT or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
  • Strong finance knowledge and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of delegated tasks, demonstrating responsibility and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent administrative skills and outstanding time-management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences including non-finance stakeholders.
