Join The Pinnacle Bouldering Centre and Clip ‘n Climb Northampton as an experienced, motivated Assistant Centre Manager. This full‑time role offers a salary of £28,000–£32,000 per annum and the opportunity to play a key role in two of Northampton’s most vibrant climbing and leisure facilities.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Centre Manager in day‑to‑day operations across both centres
- Lead, motivate and develop a multi‑disciplinary team
- Ensure exceptional customer experience at all times
- Oversee safety standards, compliance, safeguarding and operational procedures
- Assist with rota planning, reporting and staff development
- Support events, parties, coaching sessions and centre activities
- Help drive commercial performance across both venues
Essential Experience
- Previous management experience (supervisor or management level, preferably in the leisure sector)
- Strong communication, leadership and customer‑service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in climbing or active leisure
- Safeguarding training
- Health & Safety awareness
- Team management experience
- Food & beverage supervision or operations
- First aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
