Role Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our ERS provision. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering the core curriculum, develop these areas with evidence-based practice, and operate as a team player, resilient, and supportive for vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in the core curriculum and specialist subject.
  • Develop curriculum in line with current research and practice.
  • Support promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour.
  • Adapt teaching to the needs of students with SEND and incorporate EHCP requirements.
  • Collaborate with parents to provide feedback and build positive relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist colleagues to offer a diverse curriculum.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, assessment and progression review.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified teacher with UK teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering the core curriculum and specialist subject.
  • Knowledge of statutory expectations for SEND and EHCPs.
  • Ability to scaffold, chunk, model and reframe instruction.
  • Strong pedagogical skills with adaptive and responsive teaching.
  • Positive, energetic, and flexible approach with a commitment to vulnerable learners.
