We’re looking for a Scheduler II who enjoys partnering with project teams, solving complex challenges, and bringing structure and insight to how our work gets built. In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to Operations, helping teams understand the story behind the schedule, identify risks early, and make informed decisions that keep projects moving forward.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Schedule Development
- Build and manage baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Translate project plans, specs, and scope into clear, logical, and executable schedules
- Guide project teams through:
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development
- Activity definition and sequencing
- Logical workflow and critical path identification
- Maintain and update project schedules with accuracy and integrity
- Analyze schedule performance to identify gained or lost time
- Identify and correct logic that may inaccurately drive schedule results
- Understand and apply Pure Progress vs. Revised Updates
- Incorporate impacts that affect milestones and the critical path
- Develop CPM reports and narratives that clearly explain schedule performance
- Present insights and recommendations that help teams proactively solve problems
- Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure schedule quality and consistency
- Coach project teams on scheduling best practices
What You Bring
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1–3 years of experience as a Project Manager
- 7+ years of construction industry experience with a strong understanding of sequencing and scheduling
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Analytical mindset with comfort working in data, durations, and logic
- Clear, confident communicator who can explain complex concepts simply
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
