Spa & Wellness Manager

Cirencester +1 Full-Time No home office possible

Location: THE PIG – in the Cotswolds,
Barnsley, Cirencester, GL7 5EE
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum.
Hours: 45 hours per week.
Spa & Wellness Manager, is a pivotal new role that will shape the success of The Field House Spa, combining commercial strategy with guest wellbeing. You\’ll have the freedom to create a wellness offering rooted in place, community, and THE PIG\’s sustainable ethos. Working closely with the hotel team, you\’ll deliver a seamless guest journey that reflects the brand, partner with marketing to grow bookings and loyalty, and drive performance through smart pricing, packages, capacity planning, budget management, and retail sales.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Innovation: Develop new treatments, retreats, and wellness initiatives beyond the spa. Build supplier partnerships, evolve the product portfolio, and champion sustainability.
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and motivate the spa team. Oversee structured training, incentives, and development opportunities.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance, training, and safe, well-maintained facilities.
Projects: Lead spa Capex initiatives, supporting design, delivery, and ROI.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a senior spa or wellness role, with career progression.
Hands-on background in wellness/aesthetics/massage (Level 3+).
Strong commercial acumen and data-driven approach (experience with booking systems e.g. Trybe).
Excellent communicator, leader, and problem solver with a passion for local, sustainable wellness.
