Location: THE PIG - at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD.
Salary: OTE Β£14.46 per hour, including tronc.
Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days.
As part of our food and beverage team, our Sommeliers play an important role within our restaurant and bar service. We offer an extensive wine list to our guests, from wines across the world, local British produce to our very own PIG offering!
As Sommelier, you will be developing your knowledge of wines whilst working on the floor during our vibrant restaurant service. You will be interacting with guests, pairing wines from our traditional underground cellar and providing recommendations to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Through in-role training, you will build your knowledge of local and international brands and start to build relationships with existing and new suppliers. You will also have the opportunity to grow your qualifications in wine and spirits by enrolling in various courses.
Experience in a similar role is preferred, plus WSET or equivalent qualifications.
