Job Summary:
Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine – Fixed Term ending March 31, 2027. 16‑24 hours a week, pro‑rata salary £61,542‑£99,216 per annum based on experience in Palliative Medicine. Locations: Farnham and Guildford. We are looking for a doctor who can support patients and families living with advanced and terminal illness. The role involves holistic assessment, symptom management, advance care planning, and supporting families to adapt to change and uncertainty. Working within a multi‑professional team, you will prioritise and decide on care plans, manage complex and rapidly changing needs, and invest in evidence‑based practice.
About You:
- Current license to practice with the GMC
- Experience in community and/or palliative/end‑of‑life care (essential for this short‑term post)
- Owns or drives a car
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team‑working skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
