Phyllis Tuckwell are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead to join our values led, purpose driven and friendly organisation, at our site in Farnham, Surrey.

This role champions and leads the overall direction of EDI at Phyllis Tuckwell, taking responsibility for the development and delivery of EDI initiatives. By capturing and analysing relevant data insights, the role increases Phyllis Tuckwell’s reach and support for underrepresented communities and ensures a fully inclusive and accessible service for our patients, carers and workforce. Working collaboratively, and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, the role shapes and finds workable solutions to overcome barriers and identified gaps in our provision and seeks to drive cultural change through the use of focus groups, engagement initiatives, training and positive communication.

About You

  • Specialist knowledge in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and relevant legislation & policies
  • Proven experience in delivering EDI initiatives, with measurable impact
  • Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills with the ability to muti-task
  • The capability to analyse data and make suitable recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders and to establish effective relationships, collaborate and influence others
  • A flexible and professional approach
  • Excellent IT and administration skills

About Us

Patient services are delivered from our new Hospice in Farnham and the Beacon Centre in Guildford, and provide bespoke, compassionate palliative and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness, across West Surrey and North-East Hampshire.
