Are you looking for a job where you can make a real difference? Would you like to join a supportive team where your skills are fully appreciated and recognised? At Phyllis Tuckwell we see each of our staff as individuals, and value their unique expertise.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled and experienced Complementary Therapist to join our well-established team. The role involves working with patients to set and achieve goals, carrying out treatment programmes and contributing to a palliative rehabilitation approach. As part of our multidisciplinary team the successful candidate will support patients with a wide range of advanced or terminal conditions including those with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and advanced cardiac and respiratory disease.

The role will primarily focus on supporting our community service, whilst also contributing to the Inpatient unit and our Living Well Service.

We are looking for someone who works well in a team, is empathetic, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can utilise these to build trust while providing high quality care. A Diploma in Aromatherapy or Massage Therapy is essential. Experience in Reflexology, Manicures, Pedicures and Reiki is an advantage, but not essential. Previous experience of working within a community role would also be beneficial.

Regular travel across our catchment area is required, and therefore the successful candidate must have a full driving licence and use of a car. The role will ideally be worked on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
