About Phoenix New Build
Phoenix New Build is a growing company based in Stoke-on-Trent, delivering gas infrastructure to new build housing developments across the West Midlands.
The Role
This is a hands‑on role overseeing site operations, materials, quality, and coordination with site teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day site activities across multiple new build sites
- Check and interpret drawings to ensure works are carried out correctly
- Manage and monitor on‑site materials and deliveries
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and contractors to maintain production
- Ensure all health & safety standards are followed on site
- Maintain and check all required site paperwork and documentation
- Inspect and sign off quality at 1st fix and 2nd fix stages
- Oversee the first 12 weeks of maintenance, managing on‑site labour to ensure any issues are resolved efficiently
- Identify and resolve on‑site issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Experience in construction, utilities, or new build housing
- Previous site supervision or contracts management experience
- Strong understanding of site processes and quality control
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to read and work from drawings
Essential
- Valid CSCS Card
- Ideally coming from a gas/plumbing background although not essential
