Pewsey Vale School is looking to appoint a creative and highly skilled Teacher of English to join its vibrant team, starting as soon as possible. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about empowering all pupils to succeed. Pewsey Vale is a small but thriving co-educational school, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16 years. Located in the village of Pewsey, our school community works together to ensure that all students are supported to reach their full potential in both their academic and personal development.
As a school, we provide a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student is recognised as an individual and empowered to succeed. We believe in teaching that engages students and challenges them to exceed expectation and take risks so they can be resilient, creative and successful individuals. In December 2024 we joined Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.
The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range (Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 4), and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the English Department. QTS status is essential for the role.
