Teaching Assistant (Named Child – Preparatory School)

The Peterborough School (TPS) is an Independent Day School delivering exceptional education and nurturing children from Nursery through to Sixth Form. The School is set in beautiful and historic grounds with excellent facilities, in the heart of Peterborough, benefitting from both superb transport links and our own secure car park.
The School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teaching Assistant to deliver high quality SEND support for learning and to provide excellent care of a named child with an Education, Health and Care Plan from September 2026 in the Preparatory School who is beginning Year 4 and whose main area of need is DLD associated with Autism. Relevant qualifications are required as is enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine affinity for working with children are essential qualities for this post.
Working up to 37.5 hours per week, start and finish times will vary between 08:30 and 16.00, dependent on the named child’s timetable at the start of each academic year.
