The Peterborough School (TPS) is an Independent Day School delivering exceptional education from Nursery through Sixth Form, set on historic grounds in the heart of Peterborough. TPS is a Woodard School founded on the vision of Canon Nathaniel Woodard, offering a Christian education environment.

Responsibilities

  • Play an essential role in nurturing the spiritual and pastoral life of the school community.
  • Provide care, encouragement and reflective space for pupils, staff and families of all traditions.
  • Deliver pastoral support and counselling within the school timetable.
  • Work part‑time, three days per week; full‑time may be available for an individual who can teach, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Compassionate, committed and faith‑filled chaplain with a background in pastoral care.
  • Strong commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican tradition.
  • Relevant pastoral or religious experience; teaching experience a plus.
  • Capability to work within a diverse school community and respect all backgrounds and beliefs.
