We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Insurance Administrator to join our Central Support team on a part-time basis. This is a key role supporting the end-to-end processing of insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. This role will be based at our Rotherham Central Support Unit and the hours are Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-3:00pm.

In addition to claims administration, you will also be responsible for handling overflow telephone calls from surgeries during your working hours, providing professional and timely support to our customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Process and manage insurance claims in line with internal procedures and compliance standards.
  • Liaise with insurance companies and customers regarding direct and non-direct claims.
  • Conduct policy checks and submit pre-authorisations for pending treatment.
  • Maintain accurate claims and payment trackers, always ensuring data integrity.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding insurance debt and support timely payment resolution.
  • Update and reconcile customer accounts following insurer payments.
  • Take overflow calls from surgeries, handling customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer queries relating to insurance claims via phone and email.
  • Proactively contact customers regarding claim progress and updates.
