Overview
We’re on the lookout for a Deputy Customer Experience Manager to join us at The Pet Vet Portsmouth. This is a full-time position, covering 1 in 4 weekends. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and wowing our customers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Customer Experience Manager in leading a team of Customer Experience Coordinators to create a positive, welcoming, friendly and efficient environment for customers and their pets.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers at reception and by phone, helping to deliver a fabulous, long-lasting impression.
- Receive comprehensive training and take advantage of CPD for veterinary reception teams provided through the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association).
- Embrace a deskless reception approach: confidently greet customers entering the surgery, guide them to seating areas, offer refreshments, and manage check-in and check-out on a tablet.
- Upsell products and services, such as the Pet Health Plan, and demonstrate proactive, approachable, and helpful service to set the tone for five-star customer experiences.
- Contribute ideas to extend reach and drive higher footfall, including posting regularly to local social media accounts with engaging content.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ideally have some experience in the service or hospitality industry.
- Willingness to participate in training and development through BVRA.
