The Perse School Outdoor Education department is looking to appoint a Trainee Outdoor Education Instructor. The role is an exciting opportunity for anyone considering a career in Outdoor Instruction and is aimed at those interested in all areas of outdoor education, with a passion for expeditionary work.
The post holder will have full involvement across the breadth of Outdoor Education provision at The Perse. They will work across the Perse Exploration Society, extra-curricular clubs’ provision and commercial climbing provision, gaining valuable wide-ranging experience. The position will offer a comprehensive experience developing skills in a supportive and collegiate environment, and will enable the appointed candidate to take part in all aspects of the department’s work.
Work is divided between training, activity instruction, administration tasks and commercial delivery. This includes an exciting range of school holiday delivery, trips and weekend session instruction, alongside term-time programme delivery.
