The Perse Pelican School has a vacancy for a fixed term Class Teacher, to cover the Michaelmas term from September to December 2026. The successful candidate will have a motivation to work with children and the capacity to inspire pupils of all abilities, enhancing pupil learning. They will have an empathy for pupils, parents, staff and the community.

The role will include having responsibility for teaching a class of children in any year group throughout The Perse Pelican, ensuring the children develop academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. They will have responsibility to plan and prepare the curriculum to engage and inspire the children, actively involving them in their learning.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. The School requires everyone who comes into contact with children and their families to share this commitment. Interviews will be conducted in person, and they will explore candidates’ suitability to work with children.
