We’re looking for a fabulous Senior People Advisor to join our People Team and play a key role in supporting our Retail Operations across the UK and ROI. You’ll be a trusted expert, guiding managers through complex employee relations cases, supporting policy development, and helping to create a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
You’ll work closely with Area Managers, Store Managers, and the wider People Team to deliver commercially sound, legally compliant, and people-first outcomes. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
What You’ll Do- Provide expert advice on a wide range of employee relations cases across your region.
- Support complex and high-risk casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues.
- Maintain accurate case logs and ensure timely, fair resolution of all people matters.
- Support the People Manager with Employment Tribunal preparation and policy development.
- Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling ER issues.
- Ensure payroll changes are communicated accurately and on time.
- Stay up to date with employment legislation and apply it to real-world scenarios.
- Travel to stores across the UK and ROI as required.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it).
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK, NI, and ROI employment law.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site or retail environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
