We’re looking for a wonderful PR & Events Manager to join our Marketing Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in delivering our PR and events strategy, working closely with our PR agency, internal teams, and external partners to create standout moments that elevate The Perfume Shop brand.
You’ll lead exciting activations, manage our events calendar, and support sustainability and community initiatives—all while mentoring a brilliant PR & Events Executive.
What You’ll Do
- Be the daily contact for our PR agency, ensuring delivery of KPIs and standout coverage.
- Lead and support our PR & Events Executive to deliver engaging activations and events, setting clear goals and development plans.
- Manage the PR and events calendar, including Vera Van, in-store events, and PR mailers.
- Collaborate with the Influencer Manager and PR agency to deliver a strong influencer strategy.
- Coordinate press releases, award submissions, and journalist outreach.
- Deliver exciting PR stunts and attend press visits as needed.
- Support sustainability initiatives including bottle recycling and tree planting.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a similar PR or events role, ideally in retail.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- A creative, can-do attitude and a passion for storytelling.
- Experience supporting or leading a team.
- Knowledge of PR, events, and partnerships.
