Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Pay Rate: £31,859 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, providing fantastic service to all customers and coaching your team to do the same.
  • Deliver the store's daily, weekly and yearly targets, ensuring your team knows what to do each shift to meet requirements.
  • Review store performance and develop action plans – feedback any challenges.
  • Ensure store opening and closing at correct times, adhering to all security procedures.
  • Prepare and issue store rotas.
  • Manage stock inventory, minimising stock loss through proper actions.
  • Coach and mentor staff; conduct regular 1:1s, monitor performance, recognise achievements.
  • Recruit talent, recognising that a great team is key to store performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an assistant/store manager in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, coaching and development skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands‐on approach to day‐to‐day store running.
  • Exceptional customer service ability.
  • Expertise in KPIs – sales, service, profit & loss.
  • Commercial mindset understanding daily store operations.
  • Flexibility with work patterns.
