Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Pay Rate: £31,859 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing fantastic service to all customers and coaching your team to do the same.
- Deliver the store's daily, weekly and yearly targets, ensuring your team knows what to do each shift to meet requirements.
- Review store performance and develop action plans – feedback any challenges.
- Ensure store opening and closing at correct times, adhering to all security procedures.
- Prepare and issue store rotas.
- Manage stock inventory, minimising stock loss through proper actions.
- Coach and mentor staff; conduct regular 1:1s, monitor performance, recognise achievements.
- Recruit talent, recognising that a great team is key to store performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an assistant/store manager in a fast‐paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, coaching and development skills.
- Strategic thinking with a hands‐on approach to day‐to‐day store running.
- Exceptional customer service ability.
- Expertise in KPIs – sales, service, profit & loss.
- Commercial mindset understanding daily store operations.
- Flexibility with work patterns.
