We’re looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Buying team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of commercial plans that maximise sales and profitability. In this role, you’ll work closely with Buyers and Merchandisers to build strong supplier relationships, support product and promotional activity, and contribute to creating a compelling offer for our customers. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where you can build your skills, develop your commercial understanding and grow towards a future Buyer role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support the day-to-day management of supplier relationships, acting as a key contact where appropriate.
  • Help plan and deliver marketing and promotional activity that supports customer needs and business performance.
  • Contribute to sales, margin and profitability targets across assigned fragrance houses.
  • Use data and insight to identify opportunities to improve sales and optimise performance.
  • Support the delivery of 360° commercial plans across in-store and digital channels, including launches and promotions.
  • Work closely with Merchandising and cross-functional teams to support stock health, trading decisions and performance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • A strong interest in retail and commercial trading, with a desire to develop towards a Buyer role.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with curiosity and a proactive approach.
  • Commercial awareness, with an interest in developing negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience or exposure to buying, merchandising, retail or digital trading (or transferable experience).
