We're looking for a commercially focused Head of Digital Marketing to join our Online team in a new leadership role, responsible for driving profitable growth across both online and store channels through customer-led digital marketing.
Working alongside our Online Business Director and senior leaders across the business, you'll shape and evolve our approach to Digital Marketing, Retail Media and CRM activation.
You'll combine digital marketing expertise, customer insight and omnichannel thinking to create seamless customer journeys that drive acquisition, engagement, retention and long-term customer value.
Leading our Digital Marketing, CRM and Retail Media teams, you'll ensure every activity is insight-led, commercially focused and designed to deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time, through the right channel.
You'll play a key role in connecting customer, brand and commercial objectives, ensuring digital marketing supports both ecommerce performance and store growth.
- What You’ll Do
- Lead the digital marketing strategy to drive profitable growth across both online and store channels, delivering against key commercial KPIs including traffic, conversion, revenue and ROI.
- Use customer insight, segmentation, behavioural data and market trends to shape marketing strategy, optimise performance and create meaningful customer activation plans.
- Deliver a connected, omnichannel marketing approach that supports seamless customer journeys, helping customers engage with The Perfume Shop across both digital and retail touchpoints.
- Define and scale a right customer, right time, right channel approach across both paid and owned channels, ensuring communications are relevant, personalised and commercially effective.
- Define and evolve our Retail Media proposition, creating valuable partnership opportunities for suppliers whilst driving incremental revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience.
- Partner closely with the Customer Strategy team to translate customer insight, segmentation and lifecycle strategy into effective acquisition, engagement and retention activity.
- Lead CRM execution and customer activation activity, ensuring lifecycle communications, personalisation and customer journeys support engagement, retention and long-term customer value.
- Work collaboratively with Commercial, Brand and Digital Experience teams to ensure digital marketing activity supports trading priorities, customer needs and wider business objectives.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across Digital Marketing, CRM and Retail Media, building a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous optimisation and customer focus.
- What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience in senior digital marketing leadership roles within retail, ecommerce or omnichannel environments.
- A proven track record of delivering profitable growth through digital marketing, customer insight, personalisation and performance optimisation.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience building and developing high-performing teams and creating a customer-first culture.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels including Paid Media, SEO/GEO, Affiliates, Paid Social and CRM.
- Strong understanding of customer behaviour, lifecycle marketing, segmentation and personalisation.
- Commercial acumen and analytical capability, with the ability to translate customer insight and performance data into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience developing integrated digital marketing strategies that support both online performance and store growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment and drive decision-making across multiple teams and functions.
