We’re looking for a fabulous Insight Analyst to join our Finance team in a brand-new role and play a key part in growing and supporting our financial and KPI analysis, reporting, and business insights.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for retail and a desire to grow within a collaborative team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Take charge of weekly sales reconciliations, analysing data to identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to rectify any issues promptly.
· Assume responsibility for monthly reconciliations, ensuring the accurate accounting of sales and Value Added Tax (VAT) within the ledger.
· Own the month-end reporting process for sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Work closely with team members to compile and submit comprehensive reports, offering valuable insights into performance and trends.
· Provide analytical support to both Online and Store teams to enhance business results. Collaborate closely with these teams to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making.
· Act as a business partner to an area team, providing support to Store Managers in understanding financials and KPIs.
· Take ownership of the monitoring and improvement of dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
· Graduate in Accounting and Finance, Business, Maths or related degree
· Part Qualified in CIMA or ACCA with 18 months plus experience; or 18 months plus experience in a commercial or data led role.
· You’ll continuously drive enhancements in financial and business processes.
· Enjoy working with data, have a curious mindset and are constantly looking for ways to improve.
· You are someone that thrives in a highly commercial environment and enjoys the fast pace of retail.
