We’re looking for an amazing People Advisor to join our People Team on a 11-month fixed term contract and play a key role in delivering a proactive, people-first HR service to our Retail Operations team. You’ll provide expert advice on a wide range of people matters, ensuring our policies are applied fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day HR queries, supporting managers and employees across the UK and ROI, and helping to create a positive and compliant working environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide timely, accurate advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Support line managers with employee relations issues including absence, performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Attend formal meetings and produce comprehensive outcome letters and documentation.
- Oversee family-friendly policies and ensure payroll changes are processed on time.
- Produce people data reports and support with audits and compliance.
- Travel to sites across the UK and ROI as required.
- Stay up to date with employment legislation and ensure it’s reflected in our practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) or a willingness to study via apprenticeship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
