We’re looking for an excellent Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team and play a key role in delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis and robust financial control across the business. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll oversee fixed assets, intercompany, sustainability reporting and support ad‑hoc projects, partnering with teams across the business to inform great decision‑making.

What you’ll do
- Manage the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring assets are capitalised and depreciated correctly and working with the Tax Team to maximise capital allowances.
- Oversee all Capex reporting and forecasting, partnering with project owners to review spend and identify risks.
- Manage intercompany balances, coding, invoice payments and monthly reconciliations.
- Deliver month‑end P&L for assigned areas, producing meaningful variance analysis.
- Reconcile nominated balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Produce monthly flash forecasts and support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Partner with Area Managers and Store Managers to support financial understanding and KPI performance.
What you’ll bring
- Part‑qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
- 12–18 months’ experience in an accounting role.
- Strong technical accounting capability and a commercial mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical, numerical and problem‑solving skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills (essential).
- Retail or FMCG experience (desirable but not essential).
