My client is a very well established family business who are investing in new CNC machines over the coming months. Based around the Luton area, they are seeking an experienced CNC Operator, Setter, Programmer to join their team. This is a metal cutting environment. Their teams have been with them for many years and this role is replacing a person who is retiring.
You must have at least 5 years experience on the shop floor Operating, Setting and ideally programming CNC machines which can be fixed head or sliding head.
Essential criteria include:
- Clear and concise English Language skills
- At least 5 years experience on the shop floor essential CNC setting and operating ideally programming either using CAM software or G Code programming
- Able to read mechanical drawings
They do offer overtime on occasions. This is a well established family business and they are looking for the right person to join. Working Monday to Friday. Salary aae, Close at Christmas/New Year.
