Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
• Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
• Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
• Assist in preparing garnishes, organising stock, and restocking supplies as needed
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
• Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods using strong time management skills
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in line with company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly approach
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the business needs
• A positive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
