Book keeper/Accountant for theatre Co. - Volunteer in Guildford

Overview

Seeking a Bookkeeper/Accountant for a friendly, well-run UK Theatre charity (VAT registered, £70–100k turnover). Supportive handover provided, expenses covered and free tickets to shows offered. Fully remote with flexible hours and use of our Sage account.

By maintaining accounts, VAT returns, and budgets, you’ll have a lasting impact and help shape the charity’s continued growth and success. As artists we\’re all pretty innumerate so you will be hugely appreciated here!

What are we looking for?

A minimum of three years experience as a book keeper or accountant is essential. Experience with Sage Cloud Accounting is preferred but it\’s okay if you\’re willing to explore and learn the platform as you go.

What will you be doing?

If you\’re looking for a volunteering role where you can make a real difference but with only a little work then this is the role for you! You would be responsible for keeping the books and making timely VAT submissions. Typically this would be a few hours a month, although during busy periods this can increase a little and during quiet periods it can reduce a little.
