At Oakwood, we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to assist our kitchen team. No experience is needed – we’ll provide all the training to help you build the skills you need. Â

What you will be doing as a Kitchen PorterÂ

General daily cleaning of surfaces and floors in the kitchenÂ

Ensuring all cleaning schedules are kept up to date and signed off when completeÂ

Maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areasÂ

Washing up of dirty plates, cutlery and kitchen utensilsÂ

Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properlyÂ

Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment such as Cookers and GrillsÂ

Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation e.g. peeling and cutting fruit and vegetablesÂ

The Oakwood is a fantastic community pub with a large sports area, benefiting from a wide range of facilities, from two pool tables to the quiet restaurant. This pub is always running local events and showing a variety of live acts. We also show a wide variety of football and horse racing.Â
