WS Solutions is looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our team based in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment. You'll play a key role in supporting our transport operation, working closely with drivers, planners and customers to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the depot.

The Role

As a Transport Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative support to the transport operation, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, compliance records are maintained and drivers receive the support they need.

You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, making this a busy and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day to day administrative support to the transport team.
  • Maintaining accurate driver and vehicle records.
  • Processing delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
  • Updating internal systems with driver, vehicle and shift information.
  • Liaising with drivers, customers and internal departments.
  • Assisting with driver onboarding and compliance documentation.
  • Supporting the planning team with transport administration.
  • Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic records.
  • Answering tele and email enquiries professionally.
  • Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
