We are currently recruiting professional and customer-focused Class 2 Drivers to join a leading home delivery operation. This role involves delivering furniture directly to customers' homes, providing an exceptional delivery experience, and assisting with the assembly and installation of furniture where required. This is a physically active role that combines driving, customer service, and furniture assembly, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy working with customers and taking pride in delivering excellent service.
Pay Rate: £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
Additional Meal Allowance: £12 per working day

The Role
- Delivering furniture safely and efficiently to customers' homes.
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery.
- Assembling and installing furniture to a high standard where required.
- Working as part of a two-person delivery team.
- Completing deliveries within scheduled timeframes while maintaining professionalism.
- Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all road transport regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous home delivery experience is highly desirable.
- Experience assembling furniture or carrying out installation work would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and transport legislation.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
